VAT @ 20% is Value Added Tax currently chargeable @ 20% on our stated fees.

Disbursements is the phrase used for things we “buy in” from outside suppliers in order to do the job for you. On a property sale we would estimate these to amount to approximately £60.00 being Land Registry Fees for copy documents relating to your Title as well as the Anti-Money Laundering Check that must be undertaken. On a Property Purchase these would amount to approximately £400.00 for searches (with the local authority, with the drainage and water authority and for chancel enquiries) and Anti-Money Laundering Checks if there is no related sale where these have already been charged. Additionally there will be Stamp Duty Land Tax and Land Registry fees payable.
